Little Style (Stylista)

Today’s post is simple and to the point! I love this picture because it shows layering with a sweater. My favorite part about this is the belt outside the shirt and sweater. The purpose about doing that makes a statement about the belt and person! If the belt had been worn on the pants you may or may not have seen it as visibly. You can layer a belt over a shirt and/or sweater which is long or short, casual or not. Enjoy the pictures and hope you can get some ideas…

The next photo shows a little fashion girl with the layered vest (opened) over the sleeveless tee. Her pants are bell bottomed with a cute belt (that obviously needs to be closed properly:) I can’t say enough how cute the side bag looks. It seems to add the finishing touch to this outfit. She could wear tennis shoes, flats, sandals, or pretty much any shoe.

<Last, but not least, is the all casual everyday outfit. The thing I want to point out is the cowboy boots. They finish this outfit off perfectly. They show her style with continuing to keep her playful and young vibe. The ruffles on the shirt add style to the everyday shirt…

Style & Everyday Hats

Today my post is on stylish hats that change the look of an outfit. I picked up some hats that I found in my closet. Do they go perfectly? Well, the answer to that is no. The great thing is they don’t have to. There is no right or wrong in fashion. It’s about always changing things up and going outside the box. As the post continues please notice the same outfit and how it slightly changes its look as the hats change. When you finish reading, scroll back through for a visual of pictures only. Enjoy…

The picture here shows an outfit with a casual, beach styled hat (Roxy hat). A straw bag that matched the hat would look cute too. You could also add sandals or flip flops as well 🙂

This photo shows me wearing a black and white hat. Totally different than the straw or beret hat. However, it also looks cute and can be pulled off with this outfit too! Remember, you can change the bag and shoes for an even more drastic change (but I wanted to keep it the same to show how a simple hat changes the whole look.

This hat is my favorite! That is probably why it’s a bit wrinkled up. This hat seems to be a popular hat and can be found at many stores in the mall right now (this particular one is Roxy). Another casual, fun and creative hat!

Now that you have finished reading… Scroll back up and look at only pictures. You will see a more drastic difference in how a hat changes the look of an everyday outfit!

Faux Fashion Girl

Is Faux a fashion do or don’t? Well, I think it is a do! Today I am sporting a cute furry faux vest. I decided to use the belt with the faux vest so the waist would be taken in a bit. Yes, the belt is the same belt from yesterday. So if you compare, you can see two totally different ways to wear one (thick) belt.

I am wearing the faux vest with a super cute pair of shorty shorts. My shorts were, believe it or not, a pair of jeans at one time. When we were done with wearing them as jeans my mom cut them into super cute shorts.

I remembered the hat today! This was the little crocheted hat I was going to wear yesterday but forgot :))) It seems to go pretty good with this outfit so probably a good thing I forgot. My shoes are brown leather/suade shoes by “Timberland.” I bought them at Nordstrom’s last winter so they probably don’t carry them anymore. You may be able to find them or something like them online. The Military Inspired boots in my first post would be perfect with this type outfit too!

Tips to Remember:
Faux vests are a “do!”
You can cut old jeans into shorts.
Remember the hat.
Brown tall boots.
Show your swag :))))
